Environmental and Social Sustainability
SANOVIE recognizes that the emphasis on environmental sustainability is critical to being a responsible member within the global community. We are committed to operating in a manner that minimizes our impact on the environment. In practice we emphasize the importance of energy conservation, waste management, recycling and responsible supply through a series of initiatives.
What are we doing
As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, SANOVIE continually reassesses its objectives to be fulfilled within previously established deadlines.
Energy Conservation
Maintain current levels of electricity consumption and be aware of finding new ways to reduce consumption.
Use of open areas and/or partitions that allow the highest possible intensity of natural light.
Free airflow and application of materials that aid in the control of ambient temperature with reduced use of air conditioners.
Option for electronic devices of less energy consumption.
Waste management and recycling
Re-use of shipping boxes for products.
Reuse of plastic packaging.
Use of leftover labeling reels to fill shipping boxes, at freight dispatch.
Use the reverse side of the forms to reprint new documents.
Use of toner refills for printing and printers with ink recharging system.
Separation of waste in accordance with disposal regulations.
Annual targets for increased use of recycled materials.
Climate protection
– Acquisition of vehicles with the highest performance in reducing the consumption of fossil fuels;
– Less possible displacement between collaborators and partners by intensifying use of video channels and teleconferencing;
– Logistical planning for dispatch and delivery of goods aimed at the use of the most appropriate modalities and optimization of the circulating fleet;
– Application of technology to reduce concomitant operating area with higher storage per square meter.
